OK. I have made a reservation and I am arriving by plane. How can I get from Zagreb airport to the ZigZag reception?
The easiest way to get from the airport to the ZigZag reception is by taxi.
We can make a reservation for you just send us an e-mail or book it by yourself through our web page. It takes approximately 30 minutes from the airport to the city center and it costs you 150 HRK (20 EUR). Payment is on the reception along with the accommodation.
The other option is to go by bus.
Croatia Airlines shuttle goes every 30 minutes from the airport to the main bus station. Ticket price is 30 HRK (app 4 EUR) per person.
How can I get from the main bus station to the ZigZag reception?
Across the main bus station look for a tram station and take a tram number 6/direction ČRNOMEREC. Ticket price is 10 HRK (approx. 1,5 EUR) per person/90min drive. Get off at the 5th stop, our main square Trg bana Josipa Jelacica. From the main square you have a few minutes walk to our reception.

If you choose a taxi, look for EKO Taxi or Radio Taxi Zagreb with a blue sign and remember that it shouldn’t cost more than 30 HRK.
How do I get from the main train station to the ZigZag reception?
There are two options: on foot or by taxi.

If you would like to take a taxi because you have too much luggage to carry, you will find a taxi station in front of the main train station. Be careful, look for EKO Taxi or Radio Taxi Zagreb with a blue sign – it shouldn’t cost you more than 20 HRK. If you would like, feel free to e-mail us and we will reserve a taxi for your or make the reservation yourself through our web.
How can I get to the Plitvice Lakes from Zagreb?
The Plitvice Lakes and Zagreb are connected only by bus.

Do you have reception working hours and when I can check-in?
Working hours of the reception are from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Check-in starts from 3 p.m. You are free to come before check-in time and leave your luggage at our reception. If your accommodation will be ready earlier, our staff will inform you on time.
What if I am arriving after your working hours?
In case you are planned to arrive outside of working hours, please inform us accordingly so our staff could organize your check-in. If accommodation allows us we will organize for you a self check-in.
What is a self check-in check-in?
A self check-in is organized for guests arriving after our working hours. The instructions to enter in the building and your apartment/room are sent to your e-mail or to your mobile phone as a text message.
When do I need to check-out?
Check-out time is at 11 a.m.
Can I have a late check-out?
Late check-out may be arranged if the apartment/room is available. Availability shall be checked with the reception. The cost of late check-out is 50% of apartment/room rate per night.
Why do you need my credit card for the reservation?
We need a credit card number to guarantee the reservation. There will be no charges made to the credit card if the reservation is cancelled 5 days before your arrival date, unless your reservation has been made at a special price with specific cancellation conditions.
How can I pay for my stay?
When you arrive, you’ll be able to pay at the reception in cash or using Visa or MasterCard.
Are there any extra costs?
Tourist tax (1 EUR/day/person) and parking (10 EUR/day/car) are not included in the price.
What do I do if I need any help outside of the working hours of the reception?
Outside office hours, for any urgent requests ZIGZAG staff is available 0-24 on the reception phone number +38518895433 and e-mail.
Do I pay any special rates for children to stay?
Children from 0 to 3 years stay for free. We have baby-cots available for you and if you need one, just let us know when you make your reservation.
What happens if I break something?
Please, call us as soon as possible and we will try to fix it or replace it if necessary, and reach an agreement regarding any costs.
Is there daily cleaning of the apartment/room?
We clean the apartment just before you arrive and once every five days for stays over seven nights, but you can arrange daily cleaning or cleaning for as many days as you need. You just need to let us know when you make your reservation or even when you arrive. Extra cleaning on your request is not included in the price.
Rooms are cleaned every two days.
Will I need a socket adapter?
All our plug sockets are European. We recommend that you do bring an adapter for electronic devices from other regions.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are only allowed if you have been given specific permission.
